June 3-30
Reception Thursday June 15, 7-9 ; Artist’s talk Wednesday June 21 @7:00
I had a ball helping to set up this show. I love the drama and space the Whitby’s Station Gallery allows.
The relationship between the sketches and the relief sculptures are quite interesting: the sketches were done in front of the real person (Ken) while he was alive and the painted reliefs interpret those sketches and act as a way to process Ken’s death. There is more I would like to say about this show. If anyone is reading this, check back occasionally. This show is located at Whitby’s Station Gallery: 1450 Henry Street Whitby Ontario Canada.
